Install PAGViewer

The PAG Preview application is available on three platforms: Web, macOS and Windows. The Web platform is accessible through a webpage, while the macOS and Windows platforms are desktop applications.

Install

macOS

Command Line Installation

curl -s dldir1.qq.com/qqmi/libpag/install|bash

Copy the above text content and paste it into the [Terminal] program. Press Enter to start online installation. The installation process may require entering the local password for file writing permission.

The PAGViewer preview program and AE export plugin are only compatible with macOS 10.14 and above version. Once installed, PAGViewer will be added to the [Applications] folder and automatically link with local PAG files. To preview and play a PAG file, simply double-click on it.

GUI Installation

Click on PAGViewer.dmg to download the offline installation package, then double click to open the PAGViewer.dmg file and drag PAGViewer to the application folder.

PAGViewer supports switching to the Beta version to use the latest PAG features. You can click here to learn how to upgrade to the Beta version.

Windows

Click on PAGViewer_Installer.exe to download the installer, then double click to install. Administrator privileges may be requested during the installation process. Once installed, PAGViewer will be added to the start menu and will automatically link with the local PAG file. By double-clicking on the PAG file, the user can quickly preview and play it using PAGViewer.

Web

Upload the PAG file to the Web Preview page to see the effect of the PAG file.

Check for Updates

When you have successfully installed PAGViewer, it will automatically notify you of any new updates. If an update is available, simply click "OK" and enter your local password to complete the online update. After the update is complete, if there is a new version of the plugin, it will prompt you again when you restart PAGViewer.

If you accidentally clicked the option to skip updates, you can manually trigger the update check in the menu item: PAGViewer->Check for Updates....

Test PAG Files

Download the test materials and unzip them. Double click on the PAG file in the folder to see the preview effect of the animation. If the corresponding material package contains AE source files, you can also directly use the AE source files in the compressed package to export PAG files for preview.
